World Antimicrobial awareness week 2025(WAAW 2025) Celebrations Held at GMC Ongole
The Department of Microbiology, Government Medical College, Ongole, organized a series of awareness activities as part of World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW) 2025 from November 18–24with a theme of “Act now , protect our present, secure our future ” . The program aimed to educate doctors, students, and the public on the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and the importance of responsible antibiotic use.
